Software Engineer (Java/JavaScript)

Sweet iTech is looking for two promising youths to join in as Software Engineer (Java/JavaScript).

Graduation

Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Engineering or related field from a reputed university.

Experience

Maximum one year of professional experience. Familiarity with JavaScript and knowledge on any of its framework(s), preferably React Native and/or React.JS. Everyone will have to go through an online assessment test and an in-person (or virtual) interview.

Skills

- Candidates need to have knowledge on ECMAScript (mainly ES6, ES5 appreciated).

- Priority on demonstration of knowledge on NPM and/or YARN.

- Need to have theoretical understanding of REST API concept.

- Familiarity with any of the following, React Navigation & Routing, Lifecycle, Hooks, Props and State, 3rd party libraries, CLI. Not mandatory, but highly appreciated

- A strong will to cope with related frameworks in future, like React.JS.

- Familiarity with Java, specially Spring Boot is a plus, but not mandatory. Only concept would suffice.

- Candidate MUST have dedication towards project and team members.

- Familiarity with Git is an added advantage, but not mandatory. Will be taught in due course.

Our experienced team members will guide you through the technologies and techniques. However, the learning is up to you entirely. We will expect that you adapt to newer technologies, of course being guided by the mentors, in minimum amount of time possible.

React Native App Development

Recruited team member needs to actively take part in development and debugging of new and existing projects using React Native.

Clean and Conventional Coding

Clean and conventional coding is a must. We understanding it may not be possible on the fly, but the final product must be clean and abide by all standard conventions.

Open to Newer Concepts

We will highly appreciate the implementation of newer concepts and will do our best to provide the resources.

Concept to Physical Conversion

Recruited team member will be expected to be able to convert concepts of project model to working prototypes. Ample training will be provided, and pure dedication from you will suffice for a good work flow.

What We Offer

Sweet iTech offers the following facilities and benefits for the position of Software Engineer (JavaScript).

Working Hours and Weekends

10AM to 6:30PM regular office hours, flexible during high load. Friday is regular weekend, alternate Saturdays will be considered as weekends.

Subsidised Lunch and Team Building Exercises

Completely subsidised lunch and evening snacks. Occassional team building trips, partially subsidised.

Suitable Location

Office location is Ring Road, Mohammadpur, close to Adabor Police Station.

Proper Training

Orientation will be provided. Resource and guideline will be provided. But the actual learning should be commenced by the team member.

Negotiable Salary

Salary range is BDT 15,000 to 25,000 (scalable based on skills and experience).

Bonus and Other Benefits

Two festival bonuses. Minimum one yearly assessment, can be more for exceptional performance. Other benefits as per company policy.
